About

The newsletter came first. The events grew out of it.

Flashes & Flames is The Global Media Business Weekly — a board-level subscription newsletter founded by Colin Morrison CBE, which began as a blog in 2016.

It reaches CEOs, senior executives and entrepreneurs in the media, digital, business information and events industries, principally in the UK, Europe and North America. That readership is the reason the events fill: the room is drawn from the list.

Morrison was a journalist, variously in London, Dublin and New York. He became a CEO of media and information companies in the UK, EU and the Asia-Pacific for 20 years, before turning back to journalism to launch Flashes & Flames.

Two events a year. Both have sold out.

The newsletter sells the events, and the events sell the newsletter.
